The latest edition of the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association’s top 10 rankings were released Tuesday, and sixteen teams from the 580 Preps coverage area are represented.

Topeka High maintains their stranglehold at the top of the 6A girls poll, moving to 17-0 on the season last week. They are one of five teams from the capital city to be ranked, and are joined by Washburn Rural’s girls (seventh in 6A), Rural’s boys (eighth in 6A), Seaman’s girls (fifth in 5A) and Highland Park’s boys (sixth in 5A).

New to the polls this week are the Jackson Heights girls, in a tie for tenth in 2A.
