Five teams from Topeka and nine other teams from the area are in the Top 10 of their respective classes, according to the latest rankings from the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association released on Tuesday afternoon.

Topeka High’s Lady Trojans remain #1 in Class 6A, while Washburn Rural rejoins the 6A girls poll at ninth. Seaman remains third in 5A despite suffering their first loss of the season last Friday night. In boys basketball, Washburn Rural jumps up to the #5 ranking in class 6A, and Highland Park is sixth in 5A.
