Topeka West earned a 2-1 win over Junction City;

And Highland Park lost to Emporia, 11-1.
In non-league games, Shawnee Heights routed Topeka High 7-0 and Seaman was blanked at Blue Valley, 4-0.
VOLLEYBALL
Hayden hosted Ottawa and Shawnee Heights for a triangular, where the T-Birds went 2-0 with a two-set win over Ottawa and a hard-fought three-set win over the hosts, including a preposterous second set:

Topeka High went to Junction City to face the Blue Jays and Emporia in a Centennial League triangular. The Lady Trojans lost to Emporia 15-25, 19-25, and fell to Junction City 27-29, 25-21, 9-25.
