BASKETBALL

Seaman earned a double-header sweep of Emporia, with the Viking boys capturing their first win of the season. They toppled the Spartans 71-64 behind 21 points from Kaden Bonner and 16 from Mateo Hyman. The Lady Vikes held off Emporia 36-34, with Chloe Carter’s 15 points leading the way.

BOWLING

Washburn Rural’s boys and girls took team titles in a triangular at Lawrence.

Hayden’s boys and girls each placed third out of five teams in an event at Junction City.
