Hayden and Shawnee Heights competed at the Basehor-Linwood Invitational at Falcon Lakes. Full results were not available, but Shawnee Heights finished second as a team with a score of 193, just one shot behind winners Tonganoxie.

On Wednesday, Washburn Rural earned a 1-0 win over Olathe North, with Kevin Monge scoring the game’s lone goal.

Topeka High fell on the road at Manhattan, 5-1, with Jose Lopez-Medina scoring a late consolation goal for the Trojans.

Shawnee Heights kept their winning streak alive in a 4-1 United Kansas Conference win over De Soto. Ethan Armbruster bagged a brace while Johnny Jasso and Nathan Seelbach also scored.

In the night’s only non-league game, Hayden came back from an early deficit for a thrilling 2-1 double overtime win over Cair Paravel.
