BASKETBALL

All of last night’s action is recapped in the Tuesday Night Hoops Rewind.

WRESTLING

Seaman went 2-0 at a home dual triangular with wins over Emporia and Paola.

Washburn Rural’s girls squad hosted a dual and defeated McPherson, 42-18. It was a big win for the Lady Blues, as McPherson had been the #1 ranked girls team in the state by the KWCA.

BOYS SWIMMING

The Washburn Rural boys took first place at the Topeka West Invitational at the Cap Fed Natatorium, with their 445 points good for a 27-point lead over Blue Valley Southwest. Kyler Lamb (200 IM, 100 back), Kristopher Fritsch (200 free, 500 free) and Dagen Clouse (50 free, 100 free) were double champs in the meet, and Rural’s 200 medley and 400 free relay teams were winners as well. Seaman placed third in the meet, with Noah Florence winning the 100 breast and the 200 free relay team taking first. Topeka High placed sixth as a team, with Hayden ninth, Topeka West tenth, and Shawnee Heights twelfth.

BOWLING

Shawnee Heights’ boys and girls were victorious in a UKC quadrangular in Leavenworth, with a T-Bird boy and girl taking top individual honors as well. From the Kansas High School Bowling Facebook page:
